I have plenty to write. The books I have planned here will take me years to complete, but I want you to know where I'm heading. By telling you about this, it also forces me to go do it.
See you on the other side.
Shattered Earth is a science fiction trilogy, currently planned as three books: 1) The Elements of War, 2) The Shattered War, and 3) The Prime Unifier. But we'll see what happens as I write it.
Shattered Earth
The Shattering destroyed Earth in a cataclysmic event that broke our home planet into thirteen new worlds and an undulating asteroid belt known as the Shatterfield. Together, the Shatterfield and the thirteen Fragments continue their orbit around the sun, a permanent scar on the face of the Solar System.
The new world is on the brink of disaster, with constant fear that political maneuvering and trade wars will lead to violence. But there is hope that the thirteen Fragments will one day come together, a prophecy, a whisper in the universe that calls out to the Remnant of the old world.
Jerrion Jale is a student, working as a drift miner in the Shatterfield to earn money for school. When a mining expedition goes wrong, he is thrust into the middle of the political conflict, uncovering a secret that could lead to further destruction. But it just might be what could finally bring the Fragments together.
Six didn't ask to be named Six, but she was the runt of the litter, the sixth of the kittens, the weakest link who nobody in the Flora colony expected to survive. Why give her a proper name? She would be dead soon anyway. With any luck, she wouldn't be toxic, and they could eat her.
But she did survive. And she grew. And she became strong.
Follow Six in this LitRPG adventure, as she explores a world full of beauty and danger.
CatRPG, here we go! A tail tale you won't forget.
Welcome to RUNT, a post-cataclysm world of wonder!
I love this because it gives me the freedom to write a bunch of "bad books." This story focuses on magical books, where if you have a page, you can perform minor magic. If you are bound to a book itself, the possibilities are endless. The story takes place in a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by perpetual storms and follows a young "storm rider" on his journey through the world.
Follow "heroes" who obtain magical powers after being bound to enchanted Doors. Who knows what is on the other side? While bound to the Door, the Warriors are virtually immortal and obtain magical talents. However, the Door itself compels them into action. Refuse the Door's bidding and you die. Follow these Warriors of the Door over thousands of years as they do good and bad deeds with minimal control of their destinies.
Everyone has an Aura. These Auras give you magical powers, but most are minor talents. What we consider someone to be talented at (gifted at drawing, music, sports, etc.) is what this society sees as magical gifts from one's Aura. A select few have strong Auras and lead society with great magical power. A boy is born without an Aura. We follow what happens as he learns that his Aura is different. Instead of projecting outward visibly, it projects inward, with dangerous consequences for those around him.
Viral is a post-apocalyptic tale, depicting the collapse of society and destruction in the wake of a deadly virus.
A new virus, "The Torment," appears, causing near certain death for anyone who catches it. One of the side effects is the uncontrollable release of magic. This story follows the few who survive. If they attempt to use their magic, they fall further ill to the virus. And if they get sick due to the natural progression of the virus, the magic will flow from them in uncontrollable ways.
Journey across a magical land with the survivors, as they try to fight their symptoms, isolate to keep others safe, and find a way to rebuild society.
This is an Isekai story of transportation to another world. Connor dies and wakes up in Cyoa, a world ruled by Goblins where magic takes the form of "choose your own adventure" selections that the Goblins use to keep people trapped in this "not so bad" realm of the afterlife.
Connor meets a skeleton, a ghost, a goblin, and wanders the world, capturing the occassional Lost Soul that was supposed to go to a different realm.
He wants to get back to "life," however, and learns that to get there, he must follow the magical path and "Make all the Wrong Choices."
