Grasshopper
I deliver myself to the sky
in meadow grass and gravel roads
in geranium stalks and sodden earth
in towering fields and mechanical trees
in apple pies and crumpled sheets.
How I got into the pudding is beyond me.
But I don’t taste good with chocolate.
